Located in Cork City, Oak Park Pre-school offers children from 3-5 years a secure, caring environment in which they can learn and develop into confident, capable children. Here children take their first steps away from home in a small intimate setting, with fully qualified, experienced staff. We are registered with the HSE and are members of the IPPA since we first opened in 1999. |

Now taking bookings for Free pre-School year (ECCE scheme)

It is easier for your child to settle at pre-school if they attend on a
minimum of two consecutive days. However, we aim to offer the flexibility needed
by children and their families.
If your child is reluctant to part from you or their carer, you are welcome to stay with them for part of a session, for as long as you feel is necessary. We find that children who are allowed to settle at their own pace adapt more quickly to the pre-school routine. |
We provide a range of activities, ensuring that children have plenty of
purposeful play throughout a session. We believe that young children are
constantly learning from everything that happens around them, and that play is
their natural way of learning.
All their drawings work etc can be collected at the end of each session, to adorn the door of your fridge. |
Entry to the pre-school is supervised, Parents and carers must collect their children at the agreed time, and parents must give prior notice if anyone other than the named carer collects a child.
